It's private, but not off-the-grid: your job/estimate/invoice files and scan results are stored in an encrypted, automatically-backed-up database, scoped so only your own signed-in account can read them back — nobody's browsing your data, and it's never sold or shared. It's kept for durability (so nothing you've uploaded or found is ever lost), not for our use. The one optional exception is AI-assisted column matching for oddly-named spreadsheet headers, which sends just those column names (and, for genuinely ambiguous files, a few sample rows) to an AI provider to classify.
